Drum club meets every Tuesday from 3:15 - 4:15pm in the Jr. High Band Room. Drum club exists to allow students the ability to learn about the vast world of percussion as well as learn how to play several percussion instruments. Students perform for peers and in the community. The group is open to all students at the Jr. High. No Experience is required. Contact Mr. McElroy for more information. Drum Club What: Mt. Healthy Jr. High Drum Club Who: All students at Mt. Healthy Junior High are invited to join drum club. No previous music experience is required. When: Drum Club meets every Tuesday from 3:15 – 4:15pm in the Jr. High Band Room. Cost: There is a $20 fee for Drum Club. This provides the students with their very own set of marching drumsticks and a Drum Club T-shirt. Students will wear the drum club shirts when performing. Marching sticks are important to have when playing on marching drumline instruments due to the high tension of the drums. Regular sticks will crack if used on marching percussion instruments.
