2009-10 Mt. Healthy Pep Band Information
All members of the band will perform in the pep band. We will be dividing musicians into 2 bands to cut down on the amount of performances on each student. Each band will perform 4 performances at Varsity Boys and games. You are more than welcome to come and play on nights that your band is not performing. If you play on nights that your band is not schedules, you will receive 3.5 hours of community service.
Rehearsal: Monday, December 14 – 3:00-4:30pm
**Reminder – If you need another Jock Jams book you must bring $4 by Monday, November 30 so an order can be placed**
You will be graded upon the following:
•Being on time(both call time and after halftime)
•Preparing your music
•Having a jock jams book and lyre (Everyone is expected to have this-no exceptions)
•Correct attire (red band polo, jeans, shirt tucked in with a belt)
Note: Students may trade up to 2 games with a like instrument(flute for a flute, trumpet for a trumpet). A note in writing must be given to Mr. Espy at least 24 hours in advance with both students’ signatures. Trade forms will be available on the band office door. Please understand that your game is your responsibility and if you can not find an alternate, you WILL be held responsible.
